Firewall Issues

Documents are being blocked from upload

If you’re having trouble uploading documents, your firewall may be blocking access to Intelligent Evidence. To resolve this, please request that the following URL is allowed in your firewall:

*.intelligentevidence.co.uk
For common firewalls:
  • Smoothwall: Blocked requests should appear in the Web Filter Logs. Create a Web Filter policy to allow access to the URL above.

  • Sophos: Use the Web Protection or Firewall rules to allow the domain. Check logs under Web Filtering for blocked requests.

  • Fortinet / FortiGate: Add the domain to the Web Filter Allow List or configure an explicit allow policy. Blocked attempts are visible in the Web Filter logs.

Once the URL is allowed, files should transfer and upload successfully. If you continue to experience issues, contact our support team for assistance.
