Release Notes - 26.05.1 - May Release

Type of release: Bug Fix and Small Improvements Release

Applies to: All schools, academies, and MATs

Release date: 27th May 2026

Small Changes

The changes included in this release are:

  • Framework selection remembered across pages - The platform now remembers the last framework you selected and applies it automatically when you navigate to the Evidence Base, Dashboard, Upload & Review, Documents and Generate Reports pages. You no longer need to re-select your framework each time you move between pages.
  • Generated reports filter summary - The filters applied when generating a report are now displayed in a clear, readable format in your recent exports list. The framework is always shown first, followed by any specific filters selected. Hover over the filter to expand. Filters set to "All" are no longer shown, keeping the summary clean and easy to scan. For example: Catholic Schools Inspectorate, Strength: Outstanding.
  • Include descriptors with missing evidence in reports - Following feedback from schools, a new "Include Descriptors with Missing Evidence" checkbox has been added to the Generate Report screen. When selected, all grade descriptors are included in the exported report, including those with no evidence attached, allowing you to identify gaps across your evidence profile at a glance.
  • Delete Document on Upload and Review - You can now delete a document directly from the Upload and Review page. You will be shown a confirmation message with the number of evidence items that will also be removed, and given the option to continue with deletion. Note this will remove all pending and approved evidence for a document.
  • Updated Terms and Conditions - The Intelligent Evidence Terms of Service and Data Processing Agreement have been updated. The new version is effective from February 2026 and is available to view on the IE portal.

Bug Fixes

  • Reset password - invalid token error - Users who clicked or pressed Enter twice on the reset password screen were seeing an "Invalid Token" error message instead of the confirmation screen. A loading indicator now displays after the first submission and the button is disabled to prevent a second request from being sent.
  • Reset password email - missing IE template - The email received when resetting a password from your user profile was being sent as plain text without IE branding. This has been corrected and the email now displays with full IE styling, consistent with other system emails.
