Can I use Intelligent Evidence to manage case sampling? Is there a specific case sampling category in the platform?
Some schools are now using case sampling as part of their self-evaluation and monitoring processes. This can be a great way of understanding what's happening for pupils and stress-testing school systems, however it's important that individual pupils aren't identifiable.
There's no separate area for case sampling. You upload and review it the same way as any other piece of evidence.
We're happy for you to include it, but it's down to your school to make sure pupils aren't identifiable. Referring to a child as "Child A" rather than by name is fine, and keeps you in line with your GDPR and Data Protection Impact Assessment (DPIA) responsibilities.
As with all your evidence, you stay in control of what goes in, so it's worth keeping this in mind when you and your team are reviewing and approving case sampling.
