Two-Factor Authentication

Set-up Two Factor Authentication for additional account security

Intelligent Evidence supports Two-Factor Authentication using apps such as Microsoft or Google Authenticator. To set this up, follow the steps below:

  1. In the portal, click on the user icon at the top of the page.
  2. In the menu, click on Two-Factor Authentication.  
  3. To set up a new authenticator app, click Set up Authenticator App.  
  4. Scan the QR code displayed on screen using your app, or alternatively enter the key provided to register the account.  
  5. Once you have scanned the QR code or entered the key, your authenticator app will generate a unique code. Enter this code in the confirmation box.  
  6. Click Verify.  
  7. You will then be shown a set of recovery codes. Store these in a safe and secure place, as they can be used if you ever need to reset your authenticator app.
