What Intelligent Evidence Does (and Doesn't) Do
Setting the right expectations before you start reviewing evidence
Intelligent Evidence helps you connect your existing documents to the criteria in your chosen framework (Ofsted, SIAMS, CSI). It reads your evidence, suggests where it fits, and saves you time hunting through folders.
What it does:
- Maps your documents against framework grade descriptors and inspection criteria
- Surfaces relevant evidence so you don't have to search for it manually
- Summarises documents to help you see what you've got at a glance
What it doesn't do:
- Make the grading judgement for you. Whether your evidence meets a descriptor is a decision for your leadership team, not the system.
- Guarantee accuracy. Suggestions are a starting point for your review, not a finding you can submit as-is.
- Know your context the way you do. It can't tell you whether "good enough" data is actually good enough for your school's circumstances.
Why this matters
The system is tuned to highlight the positives in your evidence. That's helpful for finding relevant material quickly, but it means suggestions can sound more favourable than your data supports, particularly for performance data like IDSR. Always check suggestions against the source before approving them.
